SHA0 Hash Generator

What is SHA0

SHA-0 is a cryptographic hash function designed as part of the U.S. Government's Capstone project in 1993. It was published under the title of Secure Hash Standard by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). SHA-0 is not considered secure against brute-force attacks. It takes a message of length less than 264 bits and pro- duces a 160-bit hash value.

The NSA withdrew it shortly after publication, and it was replaced by the revised version SHA-1 which was published in 1995. The NSA made some changes to correct a flaw in the original algorithm that compromised its cryptographic security. For obvious reasons, it is no longer considered secure and is not commonly used in modern world projects.
