URL Encoder

What is URL Encoding

URL encoding transforms characters into an Internet-friendly format. Only the ASCII character set can be used to send URLs over the Internet. URLs must be translated to an ASCII format since they commonly contain non-ASCII characters. URL encoding substitutes a percent (%) followed by two hexadecimal numbers for unsafe ASCII characters. Spaces are not permitted in URLs. Typically, URL encoding replaces a space with a plus (+) sign or a percent 20 (%20).

Encoding URLs can be time-consuming, especially when you don’t have enough knowledge about URL encoding. Since there is a lot of complexity and some sort of learning curve is involved, most of the users end up using an online URL encoder tool to get the job done as soon as possible.
