What is CMYK Color Code

Colors in CMYK are a mix of CYAN, MAGENTA, YELLOW, and BLACK. Printers frequently use CMYK color values to display colors. RGB color values are used to display colors on computer screens. The CMYK model partially or completely masks colors on a lighter, usually white, background. The ink absorbs light that would otherwise be reflected.

You can use CMYK color code directly in any of your editing tools or apps. When it comes to a website, almost every browser if not all, does support a CMYK color code. If you find yourself in a situation, where CMYK color code is not supported, then you can convert CMYK color code into another color code format that your editing tool or app supports.

Converting CMYK color code format to another can be time-consuming, especially when you don’t have enough knowledge about different types of color codes. That is where an online CMYK color converter tool comes into play.
